Keep cloth pads in line when you wash them with a mesh laundry bag. These can also be used for other small items and delicates (keep socks in pairs!).

For pads, line a bucket with this bag, fill with water and soak your used pads until you're ready to wash them. On laundry day, just zip up the bag, squeeze out excess water and throw the lot in the washing machine. Easy.

The left over water is great for plants, so use it to water your garden.
